Our physicians will see you for an office visit prior to performing any GI testing. This is done to ensure the appropriate testing is scheduled, any complicating medication can be adjusted for, the preparation can be reviewed and proper insurance precertification can be obtained.
Your initial consultation includes medical history-taking, review of medications, physical examination, review of your prior laboratory studies, ordering any additional tests, and an overall assesment of your healthcare needs. We will inform your primary care physician of our assesment and recommendations.
Any GI procedures needed will be discussed with you and scheduled for another date. Our staff will gladly answer all questions you may have about your office visit and procedures.
