Dr. Black received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He did his Internal Medicine residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the former New York Hospital – Cornell in New York, NY, now known as New York Presbyterian-Weill-Cornell Medical Center.
He began he practice in November of 2002 at GI Consultants of Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida where he received repeated “Top Docs” and “Outstanding Physician” awards. He came to Oklahoma and joined GI of Norman in June of 2006.
He has presented many GI-related research papers at national conferences.
He is an active member of Norman Regional Hospital and Medical Plaza Endoscopy Unit, LLC.
